The conservatory, measuring 450 m², has been converted from a greenhouse into a bright and attractive space which can be used for a variety of functions. Today it is very much the focal point of the Ferienhof Faust.

The conservatory is at the rear of the guesthouse and the hayloft hostel at no. 26 Hauptstraße. It provides a link between the holiday apartments, guestrooms and the hayloft’s dormitories and washing facilities and the extensive outdoor areas which are part of the Ferienhof. These areas lead down to the stable, forest, stream and meadows. Karins Haus and the cornmill are just a short distance away and can be easily reached through the garden – no roads to cross!

We know you will enjoy the unique ambience of the hay hostel’s conservatory where there are plenty of cosy corners to sit and admire the stunning array of plants and flowers, including vines, kiwis, olive, orange and lemon trees, japonicas, herbs, oleanders and many flowering plants. We also have antiques, a small play-area for children, a summer kitchen, exhibitions and much more. All in all, this is the perfect place to play, paint, cook, eat, chill out, meet people, dance and celebrate. And whatever the occasion, from family parties, group meetings, sketching evenings to discos, wine-tasting, readings and song recitals, this is the ideal setting.

This is also the place where our guests who are “sleeping in the hay” come for their breakfast and where, at weekends, you can enjoy a sumptuous barbecue buffet or Sunday breakfast. This room can also be hired for special occasions, whether or not accommodation has been booked, and makes a great setting for weddings, birthdays, corporate events, kids’ birthdays, Christenings, confirmations, Easter and Christmas markets and cultural events. Whatever the occasion or number of guests, the Faust family will be happy to cater for your event and can offer a variety of different menus for you to choose from.
